HR System Implementation

Duration: 90 Days

Have you thought about getting a HR system but the project feels overwhelming?

As Monday HR, we are experts in HR systems and automation. We have implemented countless HR systems. We will guide you through a needs-analysis, conduct market research and present system demonstrations so that you can make an informed decision about the HR system you want to invest in.

We will then manage the implementation, customisation and team training to get the system up and running. We can also provide ongoing support, helping ensure that you get maximum value from your new HR system.

When we’re finished, you can rest assured knowing that you have an efficient and reliable HR system in place that will save time and money.

It’s time for a HR system if you:

  • Have over 15 employees and have trouble keeping track of employee details, documents and important dates

  • Spend too much time reinventing the wheel each time someone onboarding and offboards

  • Always forget performance reviews and don’t have a place to record goals

  • Don’t have a way to celebrate wins and acknowledge great behaviour

  • You can’t access statistics and reports on employee data easily

We have extensive experience with Employment Hero, BambooHR, ELMO, Small Improvements, Culture Amp, HappyHR and many more!

FAQs

  • At a certain point, it becomes impractical (and maybe even a compliance issue) to track all your employees’ information in spreadsheets. Most often, we recommend that organisations with 25 employees or more get an HR System. At this size, it becomes difficult to gather, update, and track multiple pieces of information for each employee.

  • It depends on the system, the size of the organisation and the current state of the HR function. If an experienced consultant can dedicate 2 days per week for 12 weeks, a system can be selected, implemented and team members fully trained.

  • This really depends on the system you choose. Not all systems are created equal because not all organisations are created equal. A company with 25 employees has very different needs than an organisation of 3,000.

  • Most systems run on a per-user per-month billing structure. You will look to pay around $10 - $20 AUD per user, depending on the system chosen and the package selected.

Using a consultant to implement a system can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $35,000

  • In a full HR system, you will typically find features to support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, org chart, e-signature documents, HR policies, letter templates, performance reviews & feedback, HR reports and offboarding. Some systems have mobile apps with employee portals.

  • Using an experienced Monday HR team member will ensure your system implementation is seamless and worry-free, and that you get the most from your investment. You can focus on your important day-job and have a new system in just 90 days.

Benefits of a HR System

Be organised

With an HR system, you’ll never have to comb through filing cabinets or search through different versions of spreadsheets ever again. Every piece of information you need can be easily collected, tracked, updated, and searched in seconds.

Compliance

A good HR system vendor will stay on top of regulations impacting HR and adapt their software to make it easy for organisations to meet compliance requirements.

Time Savings

Many tedious HR processes are made quick and simple with an HR system. For instance, you can onboard new employees with a click of a button. Automate performance reviews and set up reminders for anniversaries and birthdays. Once it’s set up, you don’t have to spend any time maintaining anything.

HR Strategy

When HR has fewer operational tasks to manage, they can spend their valuable skills and time on strategic HR initiatives that improve business outcomes. Improving retention, increasing productivity, and monitoring the company culture are just a few ways HR can spend their time when they have an HR system.

Employee Experience

Top-notch employees like top-notch employers. A good HR system can help improve employees’ perceptions of their employers. Whether it’s a smooth and quick onboarding process, an app that allows them to look up a coworker’s contact information, or the ability to update and request time off, a good HR system can help employees have a better experience.

Convenience

Many of our clients say their HR system helps them look like HR rockstars because of its convenience and ease of use. Executives are impressed with their ability to do things like pull together a report in a matter of seconds and HR professionals appreciate that it only takes a few clicks.
